Companies face logistics and cost related problems to offer traditional classroom training sessions. On top of all, with classroom training only, employees can’t get the chance to study what they want, where they are and when they really need the training session. To fulfill that need, online learning or e-learning became the greatest revolution in contemporary education.

With the growth of social media, online learning resources are becoming more available to stimulate and spark interest in learning. It is an anytime, anywhere and own pace resource. The real potential of these tools and resources lies in the autonomy they lend to learners, facilitating the way they experience and share the learning process with each other. However, the use of these tools in the organization, heavily rely on the company's culture.


Learning Management System (LMS) is a key resource to attract, onboard and retain the new generation of talents, because it is with different social media venues that they communicate. Unfortunately, some organizations where social media is very disseminated, are still behind when it comes to putting in place a LMS.
