Exercise: Using Inspiring Images for Meditation
What is Mindfulness?
It is a state of active, open attention on the present. When you're
mindful, you carefully observe your thoughts and feelings without
judging them good or bad. Instead of letting your life pass you by,
mindfulness means living in the moment and awakening to your current
experience, rather than dwelling on the past or anticipating the future.
This is a simple exercise of meditating into an inspirational picture you chose.
At bellow just pick the image that at a first glance seems to be the most inspiring to you, and follow these three steps:
1) Focus all your attention on these inspiring image you selected, avoiding any
distractions until you are focused.
2) Silently and relaxed, close your eyes and take a few deep breaths - inhale and exhale with the image chosen in your mind screen.
3) Reflect for a while on any personal circumstance to which you can connect yourself to this image you have chosen.
