About Disagreements


It is always better to prevent than to fix the negative consequences of a conflict.

Sometimes we agree and other times we disagree because we have different opinions based on our diversity of experiences, values and expectations.

In my opinion these are three behaviors and attitudes that can help us to deal with any disagreement in a more constructive way:

- LISTEN - Listen carefully to what was said. Do not think you know everything. Avoid sticking with your opinions.

- UNDERSTAND - Separate facts from emotions. Respect the diversity of thought.

- BE POSITIVE - Eliminate negative thoughts based on gossips, guesses, prejudice, fear, etc.
