About WORK and WORKFORCE Evolution

The fundamental concern for any business is getting work successfully done. However, social, labor, behavioral, and technological forces are transforming HOW work gets done.

The work itself and the work environment as we knew some time ago has already changed,  and will continue to change on a fast-paced rhythm, therefore, the workforce's behaviors and demands from some time ago are not the same as the ones we see today, and we will see from now on.

Some organizations are struggling to adapt to all changes (e.g. new technologies) entering and being demanded by their workforce. They really need to rethink their priorities and approaches.

"Throughout the history of business employees had to adapt to managers and managers had to adapt to organizations. In the future this is reversed with managers and organizations adapting to employees.  This means that in order to succeed and thrive organizations must rethink and challenge everything they know about work."

"The only way forward is to challenge convention around how we work, how we lead, and how we build our companies. Employees which were once thought of expendable cogs are the most valuable asset that any organization has. However, the employee from a decade ago isn't the same as the employee who we are starting to see today."
