The Meaning & Power of a SMILE!

Languages vary across the different cultures around the world, and different cultures value and interpret why people smile in different ways.

In some cultures it is a common facial expression. People smile to to express and communicate happiness, gratitude, connection, approval... etc. In other cultures people smile less, because they have different purposes and moments that are appropriate for smiling.

Researchers across the world have developed studies across cultures to find out more about  the diverse meaning of smiling According to the results of these studies in countries where different cultures came together, people smile more often and more enthusiastically than in the more culturally homogeneous ones.

A smile is a meaningful silence that speaks when words can't.

There are also many studies regarding how a smile affects people's health and life. It has been proven that the act of smiling activates neurotransmitters in our brains, releasing "Happy Chemicals" responsible for our happiness.

In nowadays more globalized world, despite all cultural differences across countries, a simple smile may be a good way to bring out the best in us, and connect it to the best in others.
