Ancient Wisdom - Inspiring Buddha's Teachings

There are many inspiring quotes attributed to Buddha with emphasis on compassion, peace, meditation, happiness... and much more. These timeless teachings can inspire our lives and enrich our souls.

Siddhartha Gautama's birth and death are uncertain. Most historians have dated his birth as circa 563 BC, in Lumbini (now Nepal). When he was in his 20s, he left his palace to experience realities of outside his world on a quest for attaining enlightenment. It was then when he became to be known as  Buddha

These are Buddha's PEARLS OF WISDOM I like most:

"Your work is to discover your work and then, with all your heart, to give yourself to it."

"Each morning we are born again. What we do today is what matters most."

"The past is already gone, the future is not yet here. There’s only one moment for you to live."

"What you think, you become. What you feel, you attract. What you imagine, you create."

"There are only two mistakes one can make along the road to truth; not going all the way, and not starting."

"Meditation brings wisdom; lack of meditation leaves ignorance. Know well what leads you forward and what holds you back, and choose the path that leads to wisdom."
