The Voice of Silence

“Silence is one of the great arts of conversation." -Marcus Tullius Cicero (106 BC- 43 BC).

"A meaningful silence is always better than a meaningless word." . We can and should use meaningful silence in our conversation, however, we need to be aware that some people feel uncomfortable when others are quiet.

When we want to stop or change the path of a conversation from going where we don’t want it to go, we can calm the conversation with some silence.

"When one has an urge to say something but wouldn't quite know 'what' & 'how' ... it is better to let it remain unsaid."- Neena Verma.
