What is RIGHT and what is WRONG?

"WRONG is wrong, even if everyone is doing it. RIGHT is right, even if no one is doing it."- Saint Augustine

The mind uses a human authority when evaluating actions in terms of whether they are right or wrong

I have observed that in most cases, while we perform any action, we try to evaluate it in perspective of our moral and cultural concepts of right or wrong.  For such we use our personal values and beliefs, behaving accordingly to what is acceptable by the culture in the society where we belong.

I believe it also has to do with our our "personal integrity" concepts and behavior. There is a popular paraphrase of a Charles Marshall quote that says:

"Integrity is doing the right thing when no one is watching."
