What Great Leaders Do?

I have observed that leaders who are consistently mentioned as role models are the ones who stand aside and build strength in others.

GREAT LEADERS inspire people to DREAM more, to LEARN more, and to DO more, recognizing, and supporting them as professionals and as individuals.

The CHARACTERISTICS, and  BEHAVIORS that stand out on GOOD LEADERS are:

Integrity - Leaders who demonstrate through their actions that doing the right thing is their fundamental value. Those leaders who leave aside their convenience or self-interest.

Foresight - Leaders who are able to sense the unforeseeable and/or unknowable. Those leaders who master on their decision making skills.

Commitment - Leaders who strongly focus on goals, achieving or overcoming their goals together with all others around them (direct reports, peers etc.).
Awareness - Leaders who open the doors of perception, showing reality, seeing the multiple facets of things, and seeing what is inside.

Empathy - Leaders with open mind , inclusiveness and tolerance. Those leaders who value the diversity of thoughts.

Listening - Leaders who listen first,  motivate people to challenge the status-quo, and answer all questions transparently, and thoughtfully.

Coaching - Leaders who value all individuals as human beings... not only as professionals, and coach them beyond their tasks and activities, focusing on their behaviors and development.

Recognition - Leaders who recognize people "on spot".

A great leader changes the path others will  follow, guiding them to SUCCESS.
