Setting SMART Goals at WORK and in LIFE

In most organizations the Annual Goal Setting Process happens during the first months of the year.
It is the best way to align employees' contribution to business strategy and annual objectives.

While setting our 2017 annual goals, we should make sure our goals are are SMART:

SPECIFIC: State exactly what you want to accomplish ( Who;What;Where; Why).

MEASURABLE: How you will demonstrate and evalute the extent to wich the GOAL has been met.

ATTAINABLE / ACHIEVABLE:  Challenging and stretch goals within ability to achieve outcome(s). Use an action oriented verb.

RELEVANT: How does the goal tie into your responsibilities. How it is aligned to objectives.

TIME BOUND: Set target date(s) , the "by when" your goal will be completed (deadline(s), date(s)). It may have accomplisment steps, in this case define a deadline, date to each step.

In our lives we can and should also set goals, and they can be SMART as well!  This is just an example you can apply to anything you want to change in your life:
