About Employability....


Employability refers to a person's capability for gaining and maintaining employment (Hillage and Pollard, 1998).

For individuals, employability depends on the way they present, demonstrate their talents to employers, such as their competencies, knowledge, skills and behaviors.


What can I do to make myself more employable?

Career Development consultants recommend some actions that can be taken:

- Get more and new experiences: Find new jobs, roles, projects etc. The ones that can make the most of your abilities!

- Continuously hunt for new challenges: Take the initiative in your career plans. Look for new projects, roles etc. Reinvent yourself on a constant basis!

- Plan your applications to new career paths: Demonstrate excitement, trust and ethics when applying to new challenges, and opportunities. Always be yourself!

- Research: Continuously follow the new market trends, new companies, jobs and roles. See where you can find INNOVATION, because the future is there!

- Talk to people: Build new relationships. Expand your network. Ask lots of questions. Don’t be afraid of speaking to people in the real world. Look for advices!
