Determining our Destiny

"We don't see what we see, we see what we are. Only can see the world's beauty, the ones who have beauty inside."

-Rubem Azevedo Alves (1933 – July 19, 2014), theologian, philosopher, educator, writer and psychoanalyst,

We don’t see things the way they are, we see things the way we are. To be able to really see, fell  things surrounding us, we need first to know urselves.

Thinking positive changes the way we approach things. It makes us more positive even if it does not change the event.  If we perceive something as negative, we will be less likely to be motivated to accomplish anything, when being positive would encourage us to find opportunities.

Our attitude is possibly the most powerful force we have. It determines how we behave. It conditions our beliefs., but as said, attitude is how we behave. If our attitude is positive, then how we 'see' things is likely to be useful, and more likely to be constructive. Having a positive attitude is always a good start, despite it does not always guarantee accuracy.

I have published before this beautiful Gandhi's quote:

"Keep your thoughts positive, because your thoughts become your words. Keep your words positive, because your words become your behaviors. Keep your behaviors positive, because your behaviors become your habits. Keep your habits positive, because your habits become your values. Keep your values positive, because your values become your destiny..."
-Mahatma Gandhi.

I have come to a conclusion that it is what we THINK, what we SAY, how we BEHAVE, and what we DO that determine who we are now, and who we will be in the future.
