A CULTURA DA PAZ é um conjunto de valores, atitudes, tradições e comportamentos que desperta um novo olhar e agir sobre a vida: amplo, conciente e solidário. A UNIPAZ Como parte da Rede Internacional para uma Cultura de Paz, é um movimento de educação e práticas integrativas que atua na área do desenvolvimento pleno do ser humano, no seu relacionamento consigo mesmo, com o outro e com o meio ambiente.
O professor Dr. PIERRE WEIL ( (1924-2008 ), francês radicado no Brasil, fundou a Fundação Cidade da Paz e a UNIPAZ em 1987. Pierre Weil, Doutor em Psicologia pela Universidade de Paris, escreveu e publicou mais de 40 livros em várias linguas. Ele recebeu o prêmio "Peace Education "da UNESCO em 2000, e foi nomeado para o prêmio Nobel da Paz em 2003.
Em 2006 foi criada a UNIPAZ de São Paulo (Capital), e desde então desenvolve ações voltadas para a Saúde, Educação, Organizações, Arte, Cultura, Política Pública, entre outras. A obra de PIERRE WEIL se perpetua através da UNIPAZ, que está presente na maioria dos estados brasileiros e em outros países como Argentina, Portugal, França, Reino Unido e Canadá.

The Culture of Peace is a set of values, attitudes, modes of behavior that awake in life a new look and way to act: broader, conscious, and solidary. UNIPAZ as a part of the Culture of Peace international network, is an initiative of education, and integrative practices for the human development, where an individual develops his relationship with himself, with others and with the environment he belongs to.
PIERRE WEIL - PhD, who was born in France but lately lived in Brazil, founded the City of Peace Foundation and the UNIPAZ in 1987.Pierre Weil had a PhD degree in Psychology from the University of Paris. During his life, he wrote and published over 40 books in many different languages. Pierre Weil received the UNESCO Prize for Peace Education in 2000. He was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2003.
The UNIPAZ in São Paulo (Capital) was founded in 2006, and since then develops actions for Health, Education, Organizations, Arts, Culture, Public Policy and more. The ideals of PIERRE WEIL are perpetuated through these actions taken by UNIPAZ, with presence in most states of Brazil and in other counties, such as Argentina, Portugal, France, UK and Canada.
